Frequent Flyer Miles Good for Space Travel?

According to Space.Com, frequent flyer miles will soon get a new use!

Virgin Atlantic Airways will transfer air miles to it's space-related sister, Virgin Galactic, to get you into space faster!

"A journey into space seems like a distant dream for many but this deal makes it more even more achievable for our frequent travelers to become astronauts," said Sir Richard Branson, chairman of Virgin Atlantic and Virgin Galactic. "We expect the first Virgin Galactic space flight to take place in 2008 which gives our Flying Club members time to save up all their miles."

What a deal! Unfortunately, you'll need to log at least 2-Million earth miles before you can get into the program. I have quite a few more cramped cattle-class trips to log before I'll be in that classification. [sigh]

One can always dream, eh?

A car that jumps over obstacles?

The Bose Suspension System makes the news again!"

Every once in a while our revolutionary automotive suspension system makes the news and this concept of active ride compensation never ceases to amaze me. No matter how rough the terrain, the automobile remains level and free from the extreme movements we've all come to accept from a spring/shock absorber approach to automotive suspensions.

As an employee of the Americas Professional Systems Division of Bose Corporation, I've had opportunity to see internal video footage of this amazing system. Such things help me to realize I am part of an "Innovative Technologies Company," not just a loudspeaker and audio electronics systems manufacturer. I am very proud to be a member of this amazing organization!

RSS Reader for Outlook

Attensa is a free (for now) news aggregator with hooks to Outlook, Blogger, Internet Explorer and Firefox. Thus far, it looks like quite a package and comes very close to satisfying the need which sent me searching for similar applications!

Looking for Mr. Goodbar

OK, "Mr. Goodbar" has nothing to do with my reason for scripting this post.

I'm actually searching for Pocket PC software within the Blogger.Com site to facilitate a more expedient method of posting information to the blog. Needing a computer connected to the internet for posting this particular page is a hindrance. Considering the fact my greatest insights occur when I'm not in front of a computer, acquiring a more portable method to record thoughts makes perfect sense to me.

Thus far, I haven't located the rumored software that I read in a news article, somewhere . . .

I'll find it eventually and perhaps I'll be more regular with my posted information.
